im 48 had some brown spotting about 9 days before I was to get my period

My period never came on the date it was suppose to but I have been very nauseous mainly at night and very hungry but sone things have been making me nauseous. Can I be pregnate at this age

Thank you daisy for your input my periods have been consistent every month this was the first month this has happen, I also thought by me being 48 there is no way I would get pregnate. I guess im going to wait like 2 weeks to see if I get my period for april and if not ill take a test

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. If you had unprotected intercourse, your chances for pregnancy are higher.  Especially if you are still ovulating.  Other things aside from pregnancy that can cause changes in a woman's cycle is Menopause, ovarian cyst, endometriosis and many other.  You might want to see your OBGYN and he will be able to let you know if these changes are due to peri menopause.
