Hi Karen69

Thanks for your question and welcome!

When you ask "why" are you asking why you are always cold?

I am assuming that this has been going on before pregnancy?

If you have always been (before pregnancy) then there could be several reasons. You may not have adequte heat in your home or other environments. You may be on the thinner side - thin people tend to feel the cold, and be cold, more often than people with layers of fat - or you could have poor circulation. People with poor circulation are often cold.

Another reason could be that your thyroid may not be functioning properly. A simple blood test can see if your thyroid is working correctly. Often times a person with a malfunctioning thyroid is cold all the time.

I suggest you bring this up at your next doctor/midwife appointment and see if they wish to take it further.

Another reason could be that some people are always cold and some always warm!

See what your healthcare provider says and give us an update!
