i had sex last night and it was rough and painful,i woke up this morning and found out i was bleeding i thought it was cos of the whole sex thing but till the evening i'm still bleeding.i'm supposed to see my period on sunday but i'm not so sure if it came earlier. pls help me

thank you christine,i'm positive it is my period cos it's the fourth day and it's flowing normal, i spoke to my partner i feel better now

January 28, 2011 - 10:45amIf you are soaking more than one pad per hour, go to the emergency room, or seek urgent care from your doctor's office. If you are having a normal amount of "period" flow, then don't worry, your period may have just come early. If you are concerned about how rough the sex was, talk with your partner and tell him he needs to ease up a bit. Was this rough sex something you consented to, or did your partner force you? There's no reason why you should be concerned after sex--if you are in danger or had a dangerous (i.e., rape) experience, seek help from the authorities.
