If you are going off Depo-Provera, you should find another method of birth control, perhaps your doctor or pPanned Parenthood can discuss other options with you. Or have your partner use protection (condoms).
Plan B is an emergency contraception not to be used as a regular form of birth control. If taken within 72 hours and preferably within 12 hours after a contraceptive failure or unprotected sex that was not planned, it prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation.
