I'm a little confused on how this works.... my husband has been away for work for over a month he finally made it home and we had sex. My period was due on June 12th it still haven't started. Could it be because I haven't had sex in over a month? Help

Hi Anon

Thanks for your post!

Sex does not prevent your period from coming unless it has made you pregnant. Not having sex in a month will not affect the cycle. It's possible you may be pregnant from the previous month if you had unprotected sex.

Since you are 4 days late, take a test to rule that out.
