Q:

I'm on the "mini pill", when do I take it when daylight savings starts?

I was just wondering what to do later this month when we set our clocks one hour forward, when I should take my birth control pill? I'm in the "mini pill" which I believe is a bit more time sensitive so I'm not sure. I usually take it at 9pm. I'm so confused, please help. =]

Hi Anon,

Thanks for your question!
You can continue to take your mini-pill at 9pm if that is the time you normally take it. One hour will not make a difference in its effectiveness.

How many hours until taking a pill is considered "late?"

Thanks for the reply!

I believe the mini-pill has a 2-hour window before it is considered "late".
