Hi, I'm Blitz.
I'm a 14 year old girl who has had her period regularly for a few months( starting last year)
My periods were on schedule, and then slowly they would come off schedule, and then after my most recent period(10 months ago) I haven't had one since. I know I'm not pregnant because I've never had sex.
But I would like to know this... What could have caused my period to stop, how and when will they come back? I'm worried there's something wrong with me!! Any advice...

Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
During adolescent years the body goes through many hormonal changes. Periods tend to be erratic and unpredictable. It is actually very common for young girls to not have a period for months at a time. It is NOT a sign of anything dangerous. It simply means that your body is not producing the proper hormones to have a regular period.
The only time it is necessary to have a regular period is if you are trying to become pregnant or you have severe negative symptoms each month such as debilitating cramps.
If you do wish to have a regular period, doctors usually recommend taking birth control pills. These pills content he proper dosage of hormones to enable you to have a regular cycle.
