I just found out I am pregnant I'm 30 and in an open relationship, I only had unprotected sex with my bf but I had sex with someone else during my last period. So I'm not 100% sure who is the father. I don't know how to the my partner or if I should keep it.

My first question: does your boyfriend know that you are in an open relationship, meaning, he is also in agreement that you are both in an open relationship? (ie, you are both free to have sex with other people).

If he has agreed upfront to an open relationship, and he is having unprotected sex with you by choice, he must know that there is a possibility of pregnancy. Is he also about the same age as you? He must also know that there is a possibility if you are having sex with other men, that a pregnancy could occur and the father's identity would be questionable.

For you two to agree to an open relationship, I can only assume that you are both fairly open-minded, and I hope have open communication as well.

I believe it is important to tell him, and you have some different scenarios that only you two (or you alone) can decide. We can help you if you would like to talk about the pros/cons of each decision, but no one over the internet knows your situation, your family values, your health (mental, physical, emotional), your financial situation, your living situation...there are so many factors that play an important role into whether you continue with the pregnancy, decide to raise the baby, decide to give the baby to adopting parents...there are many options.

Please tell your boyfriend, as I can not imagine it would be a huge shock to him. Most adults know that having unprotected sex with someone runs the risk of pregnancy, even when using birth control. I'm not sure what to tell you regarding the "how" to tell him, as don't you know him well enough to know how to communicate with him openly and honestly? What exact information are you looking for us to provide you with? We can help if you can be more specific.

I with you the best, and hope you will keep us updated.
