So exactly a week ago me and this boy were making out. I was fully dressed with panties and shorts on and he had boxers and shorts on too. Then after while we were pushed up against each other and like pushing on each other too and i thought i felt his "part" but after like 2 or 4 minutes we stopped. But i don't think any fluid was present and i didn't have any from what i remeber. but then i went on with my day and i took a nap and such, i really didn't think about it. But now as i think about it i'm am so afraid i could be pregnant, because i get this weird feeling in my stomach that comes and goes its like a wavy gasy feeling. it may be due to my period starting soon but i have no clue exactly when it should start the last time i got it on May 31st, so when should i get it next? i know it should be soon and also i was wearing like short shorts would that have anything to increase a risk? because im so afraid im usally not like this and i would take that day back because im so afraid i have such a bright future and i don't want to have this happen to me. i need advice and i read what you wrote to other people but im still so scared untill i get my period and this feeling i have bee having so if i could get advice on this i would be so grateful please help!

You're very welcome, Anon. I'm so glad that when the discomfort got worse, you went to have it checked out. I have had ovarian cysts before and I understand what you were feeling. It makes perfect sense to me.

I also think it's so cool that you can talk to your mom (kinda) about such things. The two of you must have a very good relationship, even if you didn't come right out and tell her everything.

We have a good page of information on ovarian cysts:

Does that help?

Thank you so much and yes realized that now because the feeling i was having got worse so I went to a clinic and a hospital and they examined me and they said the feeling was due to an ovarin syste. They took xrays and such so I'm sure try would have been able to tell if I was preagant(even though I don't tell them that I was afraid of that) but still. I am very sore but on medication. And they also said it may be due to getting my cycle soon too. I'm am still alittle anxious but what you said and I had talked to my mom about my experience (kinda) and she said theirs not possible way of I had my clothes on. So I am still anxious to get my period but I feel better that I'm am probllie not pregant. So thank you very much.

Em,

After reading carefully everything you wrote, I don't think you could be pregnant. There was no penis-to-vagina contact and there was no fluid, which means even if he ejaculated, it didn't even get through to your clothing.

Even women who do get pregnant do not feel what you are talking about until two or three weeks minimum into their pregnancy. Usually the very FIRST sign is that you miss a period. Later, they may feel nausea, bloating or tender breasts. But all of that is later.

Anon is right -- you need to track your periods, especially since you have a boyfriend and are intimate with him. Now, you may NOT be like clockwork -- many women are not. But most women have periods that are 26-32 days apart. After you keep track for a few months, you will learn how often you have your period.

You are smart to know that you have a bright future and you want to avoid an unplanned pregnancy. Do you think that you are close to having sex with your boyfriend? Do you have condoms available if that starts to happen? Do you need information on birth control?

In the meantime, just don't worry. It doesn't sound like there's even a tiny chance that you could be pregnant. You are just anxious, and I totally understand that. It's totally natural to feel that way.

You should mark your calendar at 26 days from the start of every period. You get your period every 26 - 28 days and should be like clockwork.

As for getting pregnant by rubbing each other, I wouldn't worry about it. Sperm cannot live outside the vagina and cannot make it through 4 layers of clothing alive. It would be a really freaky thing if you did and he'd have to have the most potent sperm in the world. You're probably just getting to the beginning of your cycle. So, this time, mark your calendar when it starts! I can't believe no one told you how to do this when you started menstruating.
