I have been on Portia birth control since December.I've ever missed a pill. On May 3, I had penis-vaginal contact with no condom, but also no ejaculation. My period was due May 14 and came on time, with heavy bleeding/clots/cramping on the first two days, and then tapered off for the last three, maybe a little sooner than usual. On the last day, I had brown discharge/blood. But today I have some red spotting. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant? Please help

My period started off perfectly normal, one time, the flow was the same, I've started to get clots since I went on the pill so that was all normal, and the second day I always have bad cramps. While it became lighter sooner, it went on for longer. I've just never had the spotting before.

Hi,
I can understand your feelings of anxiety. But, I don't think it is very likely that you are pregnant, since you just had a period. Have you ever had a menstrual period like this before? Wait and watch. If the spotting continues, call your healthcare provider. Without a physical exam, it is difficult to say if there is a problem.
