Q:

Implantation?

On Thursday after getting home from work I noticed browinsh pink blood in my underwear and thought it was the start of my period. It wasnt just a little spot, there was a good amount. I just put a pad in and continued with my day but the next time I went to the restroom there was hardly any blood on the pad and none when I wiped. Now its Saturday and I haven't seen blood since Thursday. Just so you know, I have had lighter periods since September, after having to take Plan B. Im not on any birth control pills but we use condoms. Basically Im wondering if this could have been implantation bleeding or just left over blood from my last cycle. When can I take a pregnancy test and get accurate results? My period is due in 2 or 3 days.

Hi Anonymous,
It certainly could of been implantation bleeding but using Plan B often follows with irregular periods and bleeding also. This may occur for your next couple cycles.

Once you miss a period (in a couple days) you could try the pregnancy test in order to settle your nerves but my guess is the bleeding was due to using Plan B which is common.

I hope this helps.
