Hi so the Sunday before thanksgiving I had unprotected sex and the next night I took plan b. I have always had irregular periods but I took it anyway. But ever since that day I have felt really weird. But now 12 days later, I still feel weird/different and I have cramps and light bleeding. I usually have really heavy periods and they are extremely painful. This started yesterday afternoon. Could this be implantation bleeding or side effect from pill. Or am I just being crazy? Cause I have read so much info the last few weeks and people are saying it doesn't work with overweight women. I need help, i have nobody to talk to about this.

Me and my gf had sex in 26th of july, the day she ovulated. I didnt come inside her, but sperms were on her back. While I clean her ass and back with a napkin, I used the same napkin, which has a bit sperm, for the top of her vagina and she said she felt something inside of her. 20 hours later she took plan-b. First 2 days she had abdominal severe pain. We were waiting her menstrual cycle 10th or 11th august. 11th august we got a pregnancy test and it was negative. 11th august at 4 pm she bleed, intensive and red. The last day her blood is lighter and brigter than it normally is. 13 august 5 pm it was over.

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
December 5, 2015 - 11:26amAs long as you take emergency contraception correctly and have a healthy reproductive system, it will be effective. Being overweight will not decrease the effectiveness of the pill.
Cramping, nausea, tender breasts, fatigue, vaginal bleeding/spotting, headaches, abdominal pain etc are all side effects of the drug. If you are still having side effects after your next period, you should visit the gynecologist to get a pap smear and make sure nothing more serious is going on.
