is incontinence treatable?I have been incontinent since mt stroke in 2007/

I can feel the urge to go but can't hold my water to get to the bathroom.
i found out in my stroke support group that this was common to stroke survivors. What can be done ? i have tried exercises , watched what i drank so as to not irritate the bladder and have tried going every 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour . I don't know what else can be done except maybe a catheter.
