Irrational Pregnancy Scare?

I am 16, and I know how irrational and stupid this may sound, but i know i get paranoid a lot. I did get a lot sex education, but i still get overstressed, so please, bear with me here.
One day i was at my boyfriend's house and we got "caught up in the moment" and we starter dry humping.. We both had underwear and jeans on, plus he did not ejaculate. I'm worried about any pre-sperm leaking through. Again, i know how weird this sounds, but please help me, I've been stressing over it lately.
Oh, and my periods are not regular at all, so I have no idea what to expect the next one.

Hi Ellie-

Your question isn't weird. I might agree to slightly irrational, but fear does that to a person! The odds of you getting pregnant in the way you describe would be extremely low to non-existent. But if you are at this point with your boyfriend, perhaps it is time to consider birth control of some kind? In the heat of the moment, sometimes things move fast and if you are scared now, imagine how you'd feel if you had unprotected sex.

I suggest thinking very hard about your options and where you feel comfortable with your sexual activity, and if you think there is even a chance you might consider having sex at some point in the near future, figure out what method of birth control you want to use now. That way you are not scrambling and scared if you do have sex. Also, if you decide on something like the pill, it does not work immediately so you'll need a little time to be safe or use a backup method.

Please give some serious thought and do a little planning ahead so you are ready no matter what direction you want to go; birth control methods, abstinence, whatever. The decision is yours to make, so don't make it by default.

Good luck to you.

Thank you for help, once again. I just have one more question... I'm feeling weird in my stomach, like there's a heartbeat when i press it and it feels just a little queasy. Is it one of pregnancy symptoms? There is nothing else occurring. Is it possible that I may be making myself think that I have a symptom? Because like you said, the chances are pretty much non-existent.

Hi, Ellie,

When I press my stomach, I feel a heartbeat too. That's normal. That's your pulse. Your heart beats and sends blood pulsing throughout your body every minute, so you can feel your pulse in many places.

Even if you were pregnant, there's no way you could feel something like that this early. And while queasiness is a pregnancy symptom, it's still a bit early for that. Our minds play tricks on us when we are worried about something like this, and we sort of get all hyper and monitor Every Little Thing we feel that we ordinarily wouldn't pay any attention to. Yes, you are just feeling normal things that you usually wouldn't even notice. You know how one day you wear yellow to school and that day it seems like everyone wore yellow to school? It's like that. It's not that there's really more yellow. It's that you're noticing it differently that day.

Does that make sense? Does that help?
