Q:

It feels like I'm on my period/just about to start it, but there's no blood. Is that normal?

I'm 15 years old, and have had my period since I was 12. The most sexual thing I have done is let my boyfriend finger me, and I've had my regular period since then, so I don't think I'm pregnant (and I know it's very unlikely to get pregnant from that, and I'm sure there was no sperm involved.) My cycles aren't regular, but aren't widely irregular (within the past few months I've had cycles between 20 and 29 days, sometimes two in a month, etc.) so I think being late isn't a big deal, but I can't stop myself from worrying. I'm sure the worrying is delaying it further. Thank you!

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us.

Stressing will only further the delay. Do your best to relax and focus on something else.
Your period will probably start soon.

Regards,
Maryann
