is it normal to feel like throwing up when your in the shower??

Is it normal to miss 2 periods in a row and then feel like throwing up dizziness and did throw up once

I can definitely see how you can be nauseated and throw up while you're in the shower when you're pregnant. The reason why I say this is because during the first trimester, nausea and vomiting are very common and for a while when I was pregnant with my son my SHAMPOO made me nauseated so I had to change it to one that smelled a little less fruity. Is this the case? Or are you also getting dizzy in the shower? If you are, you should be seen by a doctor asap-- dizziness is not a desired side effect of pregnancy and requires immediate attention.

No, it's not normal to get into the shower and to feel like you need to throw up. That's definitely a sign that something is going on.

I would say there is a high probability that you are pregnant. Missing your period is a primary sign of this. And then the fact that you took an HPT on top of that -- and it came out positive -- just confirms this.

Sometimes HPTs can have false results but it is very rare and usually the false results are when they tell someone they are NOT pregnant.

When you are pregnant, there is a substance called HCG in your urine. The HPT detects this and that's what makes it turn positive. So if you have HCG in your urine, you are definitely pregnant.

Can you make a doctor's appointment? They will want to give you a blood test (which is even more accurate) and information about prenatal care. Were you hoping to be pregnant? Or hoping not to be?
