My husband is 64 and because of meds, he can barely perform. He thinks there is something wrong with me. I recently met someone younger, i am not willing to be unfaithful, but i thought this part of me was dead, and now i know it isn't . My husband and i have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

Hi Anon,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your question on EmpowHER! As you get older, it is common for sex drive to begin diminishing, but for many women in their late 50s and early 60s, sex drive can still be very strong.
You are a healthy 58-year-old woman and there is nothing wrong with wanting to have sex still. It is a huge part of your overall well-being and is great if your sex drive is staying high later in life. Have you fully gone through menopause yet? For some women menopause can make their sex drive decline, but some continue having a high sex drive. There is definitely nothing wrong with you for having a sex drive at your age.
Unfortunately, sometimes medications can impact sexual desire and performance, like the case with your husband. What kind of medication is your husband taking that are affecting his sex drive?
There are some ways to keep your relationship intimate and strong. Even outside the bedroom, kiss and hug your husband regularly and in public. This can help build chemistry and is great for relationships.

It may also be a good idea for your husband to talk to his doctor and be open about what he is experiencing. His testosterone is decreasing as he ages and the doctor may be able to give him more or give him a healthy erectile dysfunction medication.
I hope this helped and just remember there is nothing wrong with having a high sex drive at 58. Please keep me updated and let me know if you have further questions!
