SMy daughter missed her period for about 5 months and now she has had her period for over 2 weeks. Would like to know if this is normal for a girl just starting to get her cycle regulated; or, if it is something I should take her to the doctor for.

Hi Anon!

Thank you for your post!

Periods in young girls can be irregular for several years. But two weeks of bleeding is a lot for a child. Put a call into her doctor to see what she says.
