Is it ok to take vitamin E and multivitamin + iron on the same day while on birth control pills?

Yes hello.. I am just wondering if you could help me. I just started my first pack of meliane on 26th of November 2013. Taking multivitamin + iron every morning after meal and meliane pill before bed at 11:56pm. But in doubt if i could take vitamin E as well? Thank you hoping for help..

Hello Anonymous,

To my knowledge, taking a daily multivitamin with iron and Vitamin E should no have any effect on the effectiveness of the oral contraceptive, Meliane. Nor should the birth control bill decrease the absorption of the vitamins.
