Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for coming to us with your question.

Did you make up for the missed dose?

The recommendation is to use “back up” birth control methods to make sure you are protected against pregnancy if you vomit within 2 hours of taking your pills or have severe vomiting or diarrhea for two or more days.

Use condoms or abstain from intercourse until you have used seven pills in a row.

You will know whether or not you became pregnant once you have withdrawal bleeding, or not.

Regards,
Maryann
