I have had many yeast infections over the years with discharge. But they keep coming back. There is terrible itching and I am using cortizone cream to help temporarily. I am also on Fluconazole and using no sugar at all. It makes you feel helpless because it goes away and then it comes back out of nowhere.
Thank you,
Terry

Hello Terry,
I visited Dr. Marjorie Crandall's website. I have no knowledge about her except what she posts. As you can see from her website, she is a microbiologist and not a physician. I cannot say if what she promises is credible.

My dr. is treating me with Fluconazole and told me not to eat any sugar at all. I am also taking Probiotics 20 billion cfu twice a day. I don't do any of the things you mentioned, except wear cotton panties. I didn't know if it could be a yeast infection since there is no drainage....only intense itching. Is there someone who can really get rid of this. I saw Dr. Marjorie Crandall's website. She says she can help you. Do you know anything about her?

Hello Terry,
I can understand your feeling of helplessness. What does your physician say about your history of recurring vaginal yeast infections?
About five percent of women get four or more vaginal yeast infections in one year. This is called recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis. It is more common in women with diabetes or weakened immune systems. Physicians most often treat this conditon with antifungal medication for up to six months.
Have you tried any lifestyle remedies to prevent vaginal yeast infections. Some tips include:
•Avoid douches
•Avoid scented hygiene products like bubble bath, sprays, pads, and tampons
•Change tampons and pads often during your period
•Avoid tight underwear or clothes made of synthetic fibers
•Wear cotton underwear and pantyhose with a cotton crotch
•Change out of wet swimsuits and exercise clothes as soon as you can
•Avoid hot tubs and very hot baths
