i've tried everything to get rid of painful period cramps. what else can i do ?

ive tried tea. hot water bottle, hot wash cloth, ibprofin, tylenol, hot shower, hot bath and nothing seems to work. i dont know what else to do. any suggestions to help me . They hurt so bad i just want to curl up in a ball and cry and scream if i knew that would help. wish the pains would just go away for good.

The things you have tried usually do help bring some relief. In cases where menstrual cramps are severe and nothing has helped, I suggest a visit to your doctor. He or she can prescribe Ibuprofen (a higher dose than is available over the counter) or other prescription pain relievers. Also, oral contraceptives (typically, women taking birth control pills have less menstrual pain).
