You must have gone to the doctor and had a test there? I'm very happy for you and your boyfriend. You'll have a baby Capricorn if he or she is born in the first half of January! I'm a Capricorn -- we are earnest and loyal, but hard-headed! (And here's a tip: when the baby has birthdays, make sure you wrap her or his birthday presents in birthday paper, not Christmas paper! I have a Jan 2 birthday and seems like my special day always got combined with Christmas. I wanted birthday paper, lol!)

hi my last period was april 11th and its now june 4th i still having got my period. I had some spottin at tha time my period was due. I took 5 hpt but neg two had a second line but they were cheap so i dnt knw if dat makes a diff. My nipples are really sore now am i pregnant?

I would have to say that my best guess would be that you are pregnant. You are nearly three weeks overdue for your period, and you are showing some early signs -- urinating more often, tender breasts, some spotting. Your early HPT may have been too early to pick up the amount of HCG in your urine. HCG is the pregnancy hormone, and it's what home pregnancy tests measure.

If I were you, I would buy another HPT and try it again. It's been almost two weeks since your last one, and you might get more definitive results. Or, do you have a primary care doctor or an ob/gyn who you can call and go in to be tested? They can run a blood test that would tell you for sure.

How would you feel about the news if you were pregnant? Is it something you were hoping for?

That Was My Comment,Sorry Bout The Comment Being Cut Off, last period was 4th april and was due on the 2nd of may my cycles r between 28-30 days, iv had unprotected sex throughout the whole time, i took a hpt a week after i was due but got 2 negs, but it has now been 2 weeks comin on nearly 3 weeks since i was due on.. and still no period and iv had the spotting and this lasted for a day and a half and it begun on the 23rd april, the symptoms iv had are: spotting, bloating, backache, missed period, today i realised i was going to the toilet alot more and iv had cramping, but iv also had what feels like period pains but no period, sore boobs and sensitive nipples.. sorry for the deep info:)..

Part of your question got cut off. Are you asking if you might be pregnant? Or do you have another question?

I'm going to guess that you're wondering if you might be pregnant. It would help me to know the following:

How long do you normally go between periods?

Did you have unprotected sex during your most fertile time?

Have you taken a home pregnancy test?

Let's work the numbers a little and see what we can figure out for you.

If your cycles are normally 28 days long, and your last period started April 4, your most fertile time would have been between April 14 and April 24th. If your cycles are normally 30 days long, your most fertile time would have been between April 16 and April 26. In either case, your next period should have started about two weeks after ovulation, which should probably have been last week.

Have you taken a home pregnancy test? That's probably the first thing I would do. If you have, and it was negative, then I'd relax and wait another week or so and see if your period comes. Often, stress, changes in nutrition or changes in exercise levels can make our periods late (we're getting a lot of questions about this right now, especially since school is ending and the weather is warmer).

Some of your symptoms are consistent with early pregnancy signs. Are you okay with it if this is the case? Can we find you more information?
