Late period, symptoms but can't be pregnant!!!

I'm really worried, I'm currently 5 days late for my period, which I'm usually always regular. I have not had sex or been near any semen, a couple of days ago I had my usual pms symptoms such as breast tenderness, spots and I had one cramp, I've recently been going through my GCSE exams and I still have one more to go, I'm a really panicky person and I automatically think the worst, I do have a boyfriend, he and my friends reassure me that I'll be okay and worrying about it will only make it worse. Someone please please help!!!

Dear, Anon.

Thank you for your post.

We have had a lot of posts about missed periods and stress during exams. It's that time of year. Stress and anxiety can have an impact on your cycle. You know you are not pregnant, so try to relax and wait for your period to arrive.
