I had my left ovary removed due to an ectopic pregnancy 4 weeks ago.
I'm still awaiting my period however,
I read online that ovulation might not occur for a few months because the remaining ovary needs time to adjust and do the function for the missing ovary. Is that correct? And if so is it possible with luck that I could have ovulated since my surgery?

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
December 27, 2015 - 12:33pmOvulation happens about 12-16 days before your period. You have either not had a period yet, or you have ovulated over the past few days.
It is true that your body needs time to adjust after the surgery. So it is very unlikely that your body could adjust within only 4 weeks.
Be patient. Your body will heal over time.
