Limping on left leg without pain

My daughter is limping and there is no swelling in the knee or ankle. She does not have any pain also. She is 4 1/2 yrs old.

Pain is our bodies signal to us that something is wrong. But there can be things going on that we don't know about and perhaps a 4 year old may not be able to express. People usually limp due to pain but she may have an injury that is causing her to unable to walk properly even if she's pain free and without swelling.

She may have injured a bone or pulled a tendon/muscle in her foot. It doesn't take much. If things don't improve in the next few days she needs an examination to see what may be wrong.

I hope she feels better soon.
