Long time user of birth control. Doubled up for missed pills but had sex? Have spotting, non stop, should I get a pregnancy test?

I've been on birth control for a little over a year. I take the pill at the same time everyday. Except early May, I missed 2 pills but made them up in the 3rd day. I had sex the night of the third day. Around the same time in the 2nd week I began to have spotting. This has lasted all the way to the sugar pills (so roughly 2 weeks). During those two weeks, I've been under a decent amount of stress. Now that I'm on the sugar pills I haven't started a regular period, but have continued spotting. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about being pregnant. I don't feel anything out of the ordinary. I even had PMS symptoms. Just concerned if I should get a test to ease my nerves.
