Why is it considered to be abnormal when your libido slows down? Isn't just like everything else as you age?

Hi Anon

Thanks for your question - it's a good one!

I do think there seems to be a recent trend that deems being in your 60s with a lower libido is something weird or wrong.

Libido does go down with age due to hormonal changes in the body and other factors. Since the body and mind changes with age, the libido will too.

But like any unwelcome changes in the body, libido is often an unwelcome change that people want treated; therefore the many pills, treatments and hormone replacements out there.

Has your libido gone down with age and are you ok with it?
