mastectomy incision tunneled after 6 weeks can surgeon fix the incision?

I had a radical mastectomy done 12 weeks ago due to reast cancer my tumor was not in typical unarm spot was on insode of my right breast against the chest wall had alot of fluid drain out then for 4 days nothing came out i swelled up like a balloon aftwer 6 weeks wonke up totally soaked from fluid when to see my oncologist next day for a follow up she disconvered my incision tunneled in ever since then been under nursing care going back fourth to the clinic every 2 day nurse this morning told me my incision will probably never close can my surgeon fix this problem with surgery.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Only your surgeon will be able to answer that question for you. I am sure if there is any imperfection to the skin, maybe cosmetic surgery in the future can be done to fix it. But, you will need to speak to the surgeon directly.
