Has anyone heard of this organization -- http://www.fundastache.org/ where men grow facial hair for a good cause. As the founder, Jay Higgins said "The best analogy, I think, is Lance Armtrong's bracelets, but it's on your face."
Does anyone know of a 'female' version of this organization? I'd be interested in seeing if there are any things I'm already doing (say coloring my hair) that could benefit someone else?

Have you looked into Locks of Love yet?
According to the Web site, it’s a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

This is a great organization for young people with hair loss! I have known several people who donated to it.
(I also can think of a few women over 60 who could 'bring back the stache'! (sorry!))
If anyone is looking into charities, there is a great website that lists and rates all the different charities. It is important to know where you are sending your money (or any other donation) and how it is used.
