Okay here goes, for the month of December I did not have my cycle. But all the other months leading up to December I had regular menstrual cycles. So the next month after December.....January I had a full cycle, I also had sex before and after my cycle. Now its the month of February and I have not my cycle......well just a little spotting, but no full cycle. I am not stressed about anything, I'm just wondering what is going on. Everything is okay meaning my glucose levels and blood pressure. What could be happening to me? I don't feel as if I am pregnant or anything. Someone please help, I need some sort of answer or help with this problem.

Hi Kiamax,

Thank you for your question. You indicated that you had sex so there is always a chance of pregnancy. Have you taken a home pregnancy test to be certain?

On the other hand, if you are not pregnant, it is pretty common for women to skip periods from time to time without any good reason for it. It could be stress, exercise or just because. There is not always a perfect answer for missing periods. It doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong unless it occurs for a long duration of time, say 4 months. Then I would say, go see your physician.

In your case, I would pick up a home pregnancy test, just to be certain and rule out the possibility. If you continue to miss your period, go see your physician. Could you please keep us updated?
