I'm 36, I have a history of alcoholism. I've been sober for some time (1year) but lately have used methamphetamine recreationaly. I also have a long history of reproductive health issues. I am curious if meth affects you different with hormonal changes. Also, I think I may have "alderman syndrome". Might be wrong name, but it's where adhesions occur after an abortion and can create problems. How do I know?

Hi kgyoda,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you are sober and alcohol free.  But taking Methamphetamine can also have more serious side effects on body.  Meth use can easily lead to addiction and cause medical problems. Such as temperature rising and causing you to pass out, severe itching, broken teeth and dry mouth and thinking and emotional problems. You need to discuss with your doctor the problems you are having, this addiction can cause many other serious problems. Hope this was helpful? Here are some resources for you
