Okay so I I am freaking out right now. I have a son who is 2 years old, a daughter who is 11 months. I am only 21 and a SAHM and my husband is 23 and working to support us. So, as you can imagine we are under a lot of stress. Sept 22, I had my IUD inserted. Now, a month and a half later, I have stopped bleeding and am having stringy discharge. I am so scared I am pregnant again. We only live in a 2 bdr apartment and my husband, only making 21k a year, apparently makes to much to qualify for any public housing for a 3 bdr. Has anyone experienced this why and of there IUDs? Is this normal?

Guide

Hello. Thank you for posting.

If you think you might be pregnant, take a pregnancy test. If it turns out you are, there are options.
Otherwise, these are most likely side effects of the IUD. Your doctor or doctor's nurse should have given you information on what to expect. The link below lists potential side effects & risks.
