Hey, I was wondering if anyone had some advice, I missed a yaz pill on friday, day after my frist pill (I'm a thursday starter), then I missed another pill on the next friday. Both I only realized 24hours after, so I just took my next pill as usual. I didn't know about the rule for taking two pills at once, so I just left the ones I forgot(I didn't do anything unprotected though, as I knew I'd be unsafe for 7days). Now I'm two days in on my placebo pills (my period is usually only on the third day), and did do something unsafe, so I'm wondering how risky it is? How do I know I wont get pregnant during the placebo pills, if I didn't take my pink pills 100% diciplinedly?

November 22, 2015 - 6:49pmThe rule for missing pills is the start where you left off without skipping any pills, and not doubling up. The pill does become slightly less effective when you miss a pill. However, since you are not ovulating while taking the placebo pills you will not become pregnant.
