Missed 4 pills of birth control am i protected?

I just started taking burth control pills last month. I was very stupid i know but i missed the last 4 pills. Then i have the 7 day break with no pills and after the break I'll start taking next months pills. I have one phase pills with 21+7 days. Can i have protected sex from the next month? Thanks for the answers.

Thank you for writing.

If you missed the last four pills, you should have started a new pack straight away. You should be covered but a back up of a condom will reassure you for the first week of your cycle. However, if you had your break through bleeding, you should be covered as soon as you start your pill packet.
