I have been on the pill for about 7 months now. I am currently taking Tri-Sprintec (28day pill pack). I missed two days in the first week of the new pack (this past Sat & Sun), I started this pack last Thursday. I am following the directions on the pack, to take 2 today and 2 tomorrow and I should be back on track to 1-day on Weds. I was sexually active the Sat & Sun I missed the pill. Should I take Plan B? I called my local pharmacy and they pharmacist said I should be okay.

Dear Anonymous,
Please follow the directions on your pack (2 today, 2 tomorrow). You can take Plan B to eliminate the possibility of pregnancy, however, doubling up on the pill today and tomorrow should do the same thing--protect you from getting pregnant. Please remember to take your pills on time, they are 99% effective when taken correctly.
