Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
Not having a period for an extended period of time is no cause for alarm. It is only necessary to have a regular period if you are trying to get pregnant or you are having negative symptoms related to your cycle but without any bleeding.
If you do however want a regular cycle doctors usually recommend you take an oral contraceptive. These pills will give you the necessary hormones to have a regular period.
