Guide

Hello sarah,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us for advice.

Let me begin by asking you if your menstrual cycles are regular? Have you ever missed a period before?

Have you had unprotected intercourse with the same partner or a different partner since you last period in April?
If you have, take a home pregnancy test now. For the most accurate result, test in the morning and use the first urine of the day.

Regards,
Maryann

Hi sarah,

A hormonal imbalance might be the cause. Talk with your gynecologist or primary care physician who may choose to order blood tests to check your hormone levels.
