i been on injectable for a year..then i stop ( i work abroad so i didnt got a shot) and it takes 7months before i had my.period. so on my first bleeding day i decided to.use pills to regulate my period and not getting pregnant. i been on diane35 for a couple of months now although i didnt skip a day.. i didnt drink it on the same time. then i had unprotected sex on my first day of 7day break..and missed my period. is that.mean im pregnant? should i start a new pack even though i didnt have my period within that 7day break..or should i test first to be sure that km not pregnant. need some advice please...

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for seeking our advice.

Missing your period could be related to switching birth control methods.

It would be wise, since you have had unprotected sex, to take a pregnancy test before starting a new pack. Please consult your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
