Hello. I am 3 weeks late getting period I have been have symptoms as I do when it's that time of mth...(cramps,headaches,frequent bowels etc) but no bleeding I have had a lot of clear discharge. Took 2 pegnancy test n they are neg. Went to pcp she did another urine test which is neg.. Since than I continue to have cramps and pulling in my lower stomach woke up from lower back pain 2 nights in a row.... In wondering is it possible could bed pregnant and urine test not picking up the hormone level? Should I have a blood test done? Is it normal to miss a period .... Only time I missed before was on bc implanon 3 years ago but have been having them very heavy every since.

Consider scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist, who can order a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate than a urine test.
Pregnancy is possible if you have had unprotected intercourse since your last period.
Depending on your age, a missed period can be an early sign of perimenopause. Generally, a woman enters perimenopause in her 50s, but some women experience changes in their menstrual cycle in their late 40s.
Your symptoms, especially lower back pain that wakes you up, need to be evaluated.
