Is this the first time you've had a period that has been this late?
Factors such as stress, extreme weight loss or gain, menopause (if you are 40+) and illness can all cause a delayed or missed period. Try waiting to see if your next period will come since you already completely missed your last period, if not you can get it checked out by your doctor to determine the cause.
