Doctor prescribed diflucan, 2 tablets, One was taken immediately and the second tablet taken after 48 hours. After an unsuccessful result, I started taking caprylic acid, wild oregano and live probiotics, but still experiencing mild candida. Recently after missing my menstrual cycle for the first time in my life, i went to do a blood test and found my follicle stimulating hormone reading was 16. I am 45 years old. What could be the problem.

Hi Anonymous,

You should always follow up with your treating physician. When you take any kind of antibiotic it is common for a woman's flora to be knocked off balance which results in a yeast infection. Since you have added some herbal remedies also, please check with your doctor. Can you keep us posted?

Thanks,

Missie
