Hello Anonymous,
Based upon the symptoms of passing gas through her vagina and a foul vaginal odor, it is possible that your daughter may have a rectovaginal fistula.
I am assuming that your daughter has had an upper endoscopy that showed no abnormalities.
A rectovaginal fistula an abnormal connection between the rectum and the vagina. Gas or stool may leak from the bowel into the vagina. Some rectovaginal fistulas close on their own. Most will need a surgery for repair. This condition can be treated.
It is important that you speak with your pediatrician to schedule further examination and testing, particularly an anorectal ultrasound. You may need to see a colon and rectal surgeon.
Please keep us updated.
