My boyfriend and I were nude grinding about 2 weeks ago. We had just had sex but he did not ejaculate because the condom was too tight. He wanted to c*m, but we were out of condoms, so we decided to grind without clothes on. There were a couple instances where his penis got caught in the opening of my vagina. It did not even enter me completely, and he pulled out in a second. He also did not finish, but I am worried about the prec*m. He says he knows there was no prec*m, and we have grinded without clothes on with no complications before, but I have been experiencing brown discharge for the past 2 days and I am starting to get worried. My period is not regular; I usually get it about every 6 weeks or so and I am not due for my period for a few more weeks. We did it a few weeks after my last period ended, so I was not ovulating. Although the chances of pregnancy are probably slim, I am desperate for some input. Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Holly23,

Thank you for being a part of the EmpowHER community and sharing your question.

Hormones play a big part in the different stages of a  female's menstrual cycle, which causes our bodies to respond in different ways.  Depending on the stage of your menstrual cycle, the color, texture and amount of discharge will vary.   The brown discharge is likely one of the stages in your upcoming menstrual cycle unless it is accompanied by other symptoms like itching, pain, burning and/or foul odor.

As for being potentially pregnant, I would agree with you the chances are very slim based on the activity you described.  So take a deep breath and try not to worry (I know easier said then done).

How long has the brown discharge been happening?  The brown discharge could actually be your menstrual cycle. You did say that your cycles aren't "regular".  You'll have to see what happens during the time you are expecting it to come.

In the meantime, you and your boyfriend should look into condoms that are a better fit for him.  You don't want to have this type of worry in the future.

I hope this helps.

Be well,

~Gillette

Thank you so much for your input, Gillette! You have made me feel so much better. Regarding the brown discharge, I have been experiencing it for 2 days now. No itching or odor, so I don't think I have to worry about infection. I am banking on the discharge being a part of my menstrual cycle. If I do not get my period in a month or so, or start experiencing other pregnancy-related symptoms, I will definitely look into taking a test. Thank you so much!!!
