Hi Anon

Thanks for your question!

To answer simply as to if his inability to reach orgasm might be medical: yes, it may well be.

A check up with his doctor is advisable.

Is he still able to maintain an erection and have intercourse?

Yes he maintains an erection and we do have intercourse. But he doesn't always orgasm. I'm concerned he is only 34.

Thanks for the update.

Not all men orgasm every time they have sex. It could be due to stress, being tired, feeling unwell (physically or mentally), not really being into sex at that exact time or alcohol use or certain medications. There could be any number of reasons so without knowing him, we can't really speculate.

I think a check with the doctor, who can evaluate his lifestyle/physical health is a good idea if it's a problem for both of you. If he is open to this, then encourage him to go. If he only has difficulties a small percentage of the time, then it's likely normal and can be put down to just the way his body works.

I hope this helps,
