Hi,
March 9, 2011 - 5:23pmI have a few question that I need to ask and you can ask yourself to determine if you might be pregnant. As you are aware, if your menstrual cycle is 28 days, you should have gotten your period yesterday. How old are you and for how many years have you been menstruating? Teens and women who are approaching menopause will experience irregular periods.
It is not uncommon for women with normally regular menstrual cycles to be late by a day or so.
However, the most important question is -have you had unprotected sex since your last period ended? Especially in the 2 week period beginning with the last day of your last period? This 2 week time frame is generally when ovulation occurs. This is the time when a woman is most likely to get pregnant if she has unprotected sex
If you had unprotected sex and want to take a home pregnancy test, wait one week, that would be March 15th before testing. This will give you more accurate results. Read and follow the directions carefully.
Hope this has been of help to you.
