Q:

My daughter is 16 years old and has had her period 4-5 times in 8-9 weeks. What could be some results to this problem?

HI Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

It's normal for teenagers still have irregular periods, but what you are describing is a little excessive. Is she experiencing heavy bleeding?
Call your regular doctor for a check-up,. You want to make sure she doesn't have any medical conditions that are causing the irregularity.

I hope this helps.

Be well,
~Gillette
