She starts chemo next week and we thought that this would be a nice gift for her. Any ideas on where to even start? I left a message with the Wig Salon at the hospital she will be recieving her chemo at in Marquette MI, but unfortunately they are only there on Mondays. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joanne,

First of all let me just say that I think what your daughter is doing is wonderful and selfless :-) I have found a site called: http://www.caringandcomfort.com/myownhair.shtml where you can use your own hair or someone who has donated it to you to make a wig.

There is also a list here: http://www.magicyellow.com/category/Wigs_Toupees_and_Hairpieces/Princeton_MN.html of all the places closest to Princeton. You may want to take some time and call the closest ones to you to see if they work with real hair to make wigs if the other does not work for you.

I really hope this helps,

Rosa
