I am not sure what your question about your diagnosis is so either submit another question or if you are questioning the diagnosis - you can always get a second opinion from another physician. From your post, it appears that you are questioning the diagnosis. I hope this helps.

Oops! Sorry if I did not explain myself properly. I was told that pityria rosea normally last 6 weeks, mines is over 6 weeks. Just wanted to know if anyone ever went past 6 weeks before these things disappear.
