Postinor 2 is most effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. Vaginal bleeding is a sign that the pill was effective.

Anonymous, is your friend only having vaginal spotting? How long ago did this happen and when did she take the pill? How late is her expected next period?

If the vaginal bleeding doesn't increase within three weeks of taking Postinor 2, she needs to take a home pregnancy test.
